I heard yesterday that if the world continues to emit CO2
Co2 at the rate we are doing right now we will melt the Greenland ice self and be able to sail to the North Pole! This is not some alarmist prediction it is fact. The planet cannot sustanin the current levels of emissions without incurring a catastrophe, in perhaps 3 decades this disaster will be underway, and some eminent scientists have already warned us that this is irreprable, we can only do our best to slow the inexorable tide of destruction we cannot repair the problem. What kind of legacy is this to leave to our children.
hmm, and to think that people once died to find the north west passage.
